The sun may not be shining much today, but the Moody Foundation is.
Once again, Foundation Chair/Executive Director Francie Moody-Dahlberg, Ross Moody and Elizabeth Moody have shown leadership and compassion in helping the people of North Texas.
To assist North Texans during this time, Francie just sent word that the foundation is making an initial $1M commitment for COVID-19 relief funds to help the following North Texas organizations:
- American Red Cross: North Texas
- Children’s Medical Center Foundation
- North Texas Food Bank
- Parkland Foundation
- Visiting Nurses Association Meals on Wheels
According to Francie, “The Moody Foundation stands with Dallas as we navigate the COVID-19 crisis. This community is family to us, so its safety and well-being are our top priorities.”
Children’s Medical Center Foundation President Brent Christopher said, “The novel coronavirus has changed life for everyone. Many things have come to a screeching halt. But, children’s illnesses and injuries don’t take a break. The world-class team at Children’s Health remains on the front lines every day, continuing to carry out the mission of making life better for children. This incredibly generous, prompt support from Moody Foundation will help us with running our internal command center, purchasing additional medical supplies and equipment, and going the extra mile to meet the needs of patients and their families — even through virtual telemedicine visits. It will be an encouraging boost to the caregivers at Children’s Health, too!
If ever we needed some good news, the Moodys have provided it.
